Dr. Lesley Thulani Luthuli

Qualifications: Dr Luthuli holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Milpark Business School in Corporate Finance and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the Economics and Management Sciences faculty with Business Administration from the North-West University at the Potchefstroom Business School.

Skills and experience: Dr Luthuli contributes over 20 years of board and entrepreneurial experience to the CBRTA. His experience spans Corporate Finance, Governance, Copyright Law, Mining Consulting, Biodiversity, and many of the operational and functional support areas in the transaction of Green Energy projects. He serves on the Social and Ethics Committee (SEC) and Audit and Risk Committee of the CBRTA.

He is also a non-executive director at the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) a schedule 3A entity with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and Environment where he serves as the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Research, Development, and Innovation Committee.
